Probably the most complex of the Townshend solo albums, ’s ‘Psychoderelict’ is a multi-layered concept album which also kick-started Townshend’s first solo tour. Harking back to his aborted ‘Lifehouse’ project the album includes music written during that period and spans a gap between ‘Lifehouse’ and The Who’s /5(36).

Pete and an entire cast (the same that are on the record) played in it's entirety. It was a great unusual live concert and the album itself is unusual. There is well spoken dialogue which is basically the story or a rock star who is past his prime and won't accept it. Sort of Life House II or The Trials & Tribulations Of Pete camensaobdomanthesbymildafesandxmeh.coinfos:

Blue Vinyl pressing. For 'White City' Pete Townshend returned to the concept based song cycle that had been so successful for him in The Who. The album, and accompanying long form video, told the story of life on a working class council estate in Townshend's old West London stomping ground/5(23).

Psychoderelict is a concept album written, produced and engineered by Pete Townshend. Some characters and issues presented in this work were continued in Townshend's later opus The Boy Who Heard Music, first presented on The Who 's album Endless Wire and then adapted as a rock musical. Psychoderelict is Townshend's most recent solo album to date.
